2006 Lawmen Team Awards (August 2006): During the Lawmen 2006 GCFL Season Championship celebration party, the following Lawmen players received special team awards for their efforts and performance on the field during the 2006 Season: Andre Walker - Lawmen Player of the Decade Bubba Merz - Hardest Hitter Award Jeremy Lindsey - Offensive Player of the Year Paul DeVille - Defensive Player of the Year Scott Burke - Most Inspirational Player John Phillips - Sticky Fingers Interception Award Rick Daniels - 'All Newnham Team' Toughest Lineman Special Staff awards were also given out to Brad Newnham for General Manager of the Year for his outstanding efforts in running the team and to Team Marketing Director George French for his outstanding work on the Team Website and other marketing items that helped make the Lawmen 2006 team stand out off the field, both locally and nationally in 2006.
